I already mentioned that you can find some Universal parts on a Dutch
site. But now I have found loads of Evolution cars offered on the same
site. Limited editions (for example chrome Aston Martin for 30 euro)
and other very nice new cars. I thought I let you know.





How to find this?

Search : carrera*


Now you'll find "Auto 111 carrera" on the top of the list.


Click on the add, you'll get the add form a guy called Guus.


Now click on "Alle advertenties" and look for yourself.





This guy is cleaning out (I bought some 1:24) and has put over a 100 cars in for sale, also brands like Fly, Fleishmann etc.





I just thought I let you now this because the prices are realy nice.

in den agbs steht jedenfalls auch nichts wann ein angebot endet und wie die kaufabwicklung ist und auch nicht wann man erfolgreich war

First of all excuses for my late reply, I am a working class hero and I
can't get on the internet at work. Secondly I want to congratulate you
with your new banner. I am a great fan of Michel Vaillant and I have
plans to make a Panoz in the same colors as the "Leader" one in the
movie. Still need to find a Peugeot to make the Vaillante. Did you know
there was a racing team that used the Vaillante name? So no excuses for
carrera to make a Vaillante!



Well to answer your question. Normally you put in a bid, when this is
done you'll get an email from marktplaats to confirm your bid and after
confirmation it is placed. The seller can decide to wait a little, to
accept your bid or not to sell at all if he thinks the bid is to low.
So it's no bidding site like ebay but you can compare it with a real
market. Actually sometimes one can wait until hell freezes over!
But you can always send an email to the seller asking him if he's ok
with the bid and when he's deciding to sell. Or you can call him if he
has left his phone number with the add. If you (or another clubmember)
have difficulties with the Dutch language feel free to send me an email
and I will make the translation for you. I can read German perfectly
but my writing is poor that's why I write in English.



In this forum I have put two hints, one for Universal parts and the one
you were replying to. The universal parts are offered by only two guys,
so one could bargain with them but I don't know these guys.



The more than 160 cars that are put on marktplaats by Guus you can bid
on but you are free to call him. I asked him if that was ok with him
and he has no problems with that. The prices he asks are fixed prices,
so if you bid the price asked the car is yours. If you buy a couple you
can bargain about the price with him. So best thing to do is call! His
phone number is +31518 491602. I told him some german guys could call.



I am not sure about postage costs but I think it's about 8,75 euro for secured delivery up to 1 kilo.

der mann hat klasse reibrad autos am start und da ich die dinger zu gerne fahre hab ich mich auch schon mit ihm geeinigt und ein paar ergattert. echt ne supergünstige alternative zu ebay.hoffe das klappt auch alles und ich bekomme die richtigen zugesandt denn bei der masse kann man ja ganz fix den überblick verlieren.

achja und endlich besitzer eines FES zu sein ist auch net so übel und wenn mir nu noch einer nen GT1 Daytona für das gleiche geld gibt bin ich ersma laaaaaaaange glücklich denn dann hab ich meine porschesammlung kpl.

It's nice o learn that you could do some nice bussiness with him. Did
you know that international payment is now for free? You only need IBAN
number and BIC code. I agree that the prices payed on Ebay is madness.
For some time now I want to go to Slotmania but I was told that prices
there are at ebay level. So I will visit some fairs in Holland.
Actually here a website from the scalectrix club in Holland. They
organize meeting on a regular basis, http://www.sln-slotracing.nl The next one is in Utrecht 30 km's
to the south of Amsterdam. Maybe some of you guys are willing to visit,
we could organize soemthing. (combine it with a visit to Amsterdam
maybe?)
